World's first manned flying saucer takes to the skies in China
The world's first UFO-type manned electric vertical take-off and landing aircraft took flight from southern China.
The impressive video was filmed in the city of Shenzhen in Guangdong Province on June 3.
The aircraft, boasting a futuristic design, features a six-hole conduit with 12 propellers, ensuring triple redundancy in terms of power, motor, and flight control for enhanced safety. Combining its unique appearance with functionality, it is capable of taking off and landing on water, making it amphibious.
The product, touted as the world's first electrically powered vertical takeoff manned aircraft, has been primarily designed for sightseeing tourism and advertising performances.
It has already obtained global patents for its groundbreaking technology. With a flight time of up to 15 minutes, a maximum altitude of 200 metres, and a top horizontal speed of 50 kilometres per hour, it also offers the flexibility to switch between automatic and manual driving modes.
The video was provided by local media with permission.
