Harvesting Kangkung (water spinach), popular in Indonesia, banned in the United States
Farmers are harvesting kangkung (water spinach) crops on 10 square meters of land on Tuesday, June 13, 2023. In less than three weeks, the kangkung can be harvested. In Indonesia, kangkung is a daily food eaten as a vegetable along with rice. Kangkung is also often exported abroad, but in the U.S., it is strictly forbidden to be consumed because it contains harmful substances that can cause drowsiness.
