This touching moment, captured on Australia's Gold Coast, shows a husband and wife of 46 years dancing to a childhood song they share.

Wife Arlene and husband Owen are high school sweethearts going on 46 years married! It's their anniversary next month. Owen likes to reverse Arlene's car out because she always complains the driveway has a tight turn that she can't manoeuvre.

Owen, who works a trade as a tiler, had just finished work and had taken his boots off when he took on the task of reversing Arelene's car. Whilst doing this, a song from the couple's youth began to play from the car stereo: "You to me are everything," a 1976 hit for British soul group the Real Thing.

Owen serenaded Arelene for the whole first verse and then got out to dance with her.

Filmer and daughter of Owen and Arelene, Kim Benjamin, told Newsflare: "Watching my parents share this moment warms my heart. They have not had an easy life, but seeing two people find love, joy and silliness through life's challenges and hardships gives me so much hope".

"My mum and dad are beautiful people; this is how they are with each other most days. They are true couple goals. As I've grown up, I've witnessed them choose to love each other through everything. I hope that love like this still exists today."

This video was filmed on May 17.
