A sparrow smashed into the glass walls of a bank but was revived with CPR.

The hapless bird swooped inside the establishment and was ushered out by employees in Nakhon Ratchasima province on April 20.

However, the feathered creature panicked and hit the transparent wall before plopping unconscious on the floor.

Footage shows the bird being given soft chest compressions with fingers to wake it up. After almost a minute of CPR, the sparrow sprung back to life and was released from the bank.

Bank employee San Phakhunthod said: ‘We had to chase the animal out because it would trigger the alarms if we leave it inside after closing time.'
