State trooper saves kitten roaming on busy Las Vegas highway
A heroic police officer was filmed on their own dashcam performing a daring rescue of a kitten on the side of a busy highway.
The police officer in Las Vegas, Nevada, USA, is seen pulling over on an intersection of a busy highway and approaching the terrified kitten saying "Hi, baby. You’re OK."
Officer Estrada, a Nevada State Trooper, manages to round up the terrified kitten after a back and forth only inches away from traffic.
After safely rescuing the kitten, Officer Estrada took the animal back to the safety of the
police vehicle.
Nevada State Police tweeted: "Last week, Nevada State Police received calls about a kitten on the on-ramp to a busy highway in Las Vegas."
"Trooper Estrada quickly responded..."
On the way back to the station the kitten hid in the glove compartment and had to be retrieved by another state trooper.
The kitten was then given some tender loving care and has now been dubbed "Trooper Kitty" by the Nevada State Police."
