Wild monkeys swim into sea to grab snacks thrown by tourists from passing boat
Wild monkeys swam into the sea to grab snacks thrown by tourists from a passing boat.
The hungry troop was gathered on a beach when a vessel carrying holidaymakers approached in Phetchaburi province, Thailand on April 16.
But even before reaching the shore, the giggly visitors excitedly tossed the colourful starchy snacks into the water to feed the animals.
Footage shows the primates diving and racing to munch on food floating in the water.
Tourist Chang Pae said: ‘The monkeys were better swimmers than us. We stayed on the boat and let them dip in the water while giving them snacks. It was a fun activity.'
