Dramatic CCTV footage has emerged from China of a man beating up an alleged robber at a cash machine, before completing the withdrawal and walking out.

In the video, captured on a security camera in Sichuan Province on Saturday, the man can be seen fighting and grappling with the robber.

When he is calling the police at the entrance of the room, however, the robber stands up and tries to fight back, moving the battle onto the street.

According to local news, the couple continued the violence on the street until police arrived and arrested the robber.
