Magnitude 6.2 earthquake shakes aquarium in the Philippines
An aquarium shook as a magnitude 6.2 earthquake rattled the northern Philippines island of Luzon on Thursday.
Footage shows the water tank and potted plants shaking as the quake was felt in a home in Imus City, Cavite province, on June 15.
The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (PHIVOLCS) said the earthquake struck northwest of Calatagan town in Batangas province at 10:19 am local time.
It was recorded at a depth of 103 kilometres, and was felt in nearby provinces, including the capital Manila.
Train lines around Metro Manila were temporarily suspended due to the tremors, the Department of Transport said.
PHIVOLCS said damage and aftershocks were expected.
The Philippines is an archipelago of more than 7,000 islands inside the Pacific 'Ring of Fire' where the majority of Earth's volcano eruptions and earthquakes happen.
