STORYLINE:

Members of the Cambodian People's Party (CPP)'s Central Youth visited villages in east China's Zhejiang from March 29 to April 8.

Amazed by the development and green transformation of the villages, they say many experiences can be drawn and applied in Cambodia.

"The people in this province are very diligent and highly committed to their work. They are particularly good at innovation.
In Wusi village of Moganshan town and Yucun village of Tianhuangping Township, I was impressed by the experience, good lessons, and leadership ideas of local leaders. They followed the fundamental principles of the Communist Party of China in improving the well-being of the people.
Cambodia can learn lessons from China's rural revitalization experience to promote high-quality and modern economic development based on economic potential in each province."

"The 'Thousand Villages Demonstration and Ten Thousand Villages Renovation' project has narrowed the development gap between cities and villages, and low-income people and underdeveloped areas have greatly benefited from it.
Cambodia can draw on China's rural revitalization experience to preserve and protect its natural resources such as forests, rivers, streams, and lakes, which are the natural resources that provide great benefits to people in the next generations.
China's efforts to promote high-quality development, green development, and low-carbon footprint will encourage other countries to develop together with China to achieve mutually beneficial cooperation and win-win results."
