SDRF Team Rescues Passenger Who Slipped While Trekking in Chamoli, India

The State Disaster Response Force (SDRF) team rushed to the rescue of a man who slipped and fell while trekking in northern India's Uttarakhand.
This incident happened in Chamoli district on June 12.
Visuals showed the SDRF officials carrying away the man down the mountain where he went for a trek. The man seemed to be in a semi-unconscious state as he was taken away. According to a report, Badrinath police station informed the SDRF about this passenger, who was identified as a 14-year-old named Saurav.
He had reportedly slipped and suffered injuries to his head and eyes after which he fainted due to panic. Saurav was given first aid by the SDRF who then took him to the Mana village. He was later admitted to the Vivekananda hospital with the help of a private vehicle.
