A clumsy tourist shrieked as she fell into a rose petal pond while taking a selfie.

Namphueng Nitiwarangkoon twirled on her flowy dress on the edge of the pool, hoping for a dramatic nature selfie in Bali, Indonesia on May 28.

But the travel enthusiast unwittingly filmed herself on a blooper as she missed a step and tumbled into the flowery water.

Footage shows Namphueng screaming as she lost balance and fell into the structure. The tourist giggled while clinging onto the edge with half of her body submerged.

She said: ‘Wow I was so shocked when I fell. It happened unexpectedly.'

However, Namphueng recovered immediately and found herself laughing on the pool's edge.

Her friend, who heard her shouting, called out to her but heard her giggling.

She added: ‘I will be more careful next time. Nature trips are fun but can be dangerous.'
