This video captures the beautiful culmination of a boy's years of longing for a baby sibling.

The blissful clip starts with the subject meeting his newborn sister for the first time and immediately getting reduced to tears.

It turns out that his journey to becoming a big bro wasn't free of adversities.

"My husband and I struggled with unexplained infertility for five years before finding out we were blessed with twins!" the filmer/mom, Caitlyn Koger, shared with WooGlobe. "Our son was with us every step of the way and extremely excited.

"We ended up losing one baby and we never found out the reason and then further along in the pregnancy, our son had some chromosomal abnormalities as well as an omphalocele and an anencephaly. He ended up passing away in my womb."

Caitlyn added that the tragic loss of her unborn twins left the entire family, especially their son, absolutely devastated.

However, life gave this lovely family another chance at happiness a year later, and this soul-stirring moment was a result of that.
