Eww! This is the moment a doctor extracted a 15cm-long leech from a man's nose.

Footage captured and shared with the patient's permission at a clinic in Nghe An, Vietnam shows the leech, still alive, being retrieved from the patient's nostril.

According to Dr Nam, the man sought medical assistance after experiencing a sore nose accompanied by persistent bleeding. What started as a routine examination quickly turned into something more surprising when the astute doctor stumbled upon the leech nestled comfortably inside the man's nasal tube. The creepy crawler was firmly attached, feeding on the unsuspecting patient's blood.

Acting swiftly, the determined doctor wasted no time in removing the unwelcome guest from the distressed man's nasal cavity. With precise expertise, he successfully extracted the live leech, measuring 15cm in length.

Recalling an incident from five weeks prior, the patient recounted how he had innocently washed his face in a mountain river. Little did he know that this innocent act might have led to the intrusion of the blood-sucking creature into his nose.
