STORYLINE:

As China's rural revitalization advances, many young people are drawn to pursue their careers in the countryside.

One of them is Niu Tong, 29-year-old, who studied in Australia for years. He and his schoolmates have formed a team to cultivate yellow peaches in the mountainous Fuping County in north China's Hebei Province.

Niu has used a digital agriculture system in managing his peach orchard to enhance efficiency and boost production.

SOUNDBITES (CHINESE): NIU TONG, General manager of Hebei Guangcun Biotechnology Co., Ltd.
"The transition from traditional agriculture to modern and digital agriculture takes time and persistence. We are willing to be the pioneers in this industry.
Over the past few years, we have used science and technology to improve the quality and efficiency of agricultural production.
Reducing costs with smart agriculture technology is only one of the key steps. Marketing is even more important. We have integrated traditional marketing with online, new retail marketing modes and set up a marketing team in Beijing to sell our peaches nationwide.
We have helped local farmers increase their income by more than 34.5 million yuan (around 4.8 million US dollars).
Our generation's mission is to apply what we have learned. I hope our team can inspire more young people to dedicate themselves to rural revitalization and create a better home."
