"For me, my five years in China have been full of joy. I was able to learn a lot about China, and it changed my life both personally and professionally. I acquired a lot of knowledge and made many friends. And since I was in China, everything in my life was rewarding, and I had the opportunity to get to know more."

In 2022, Paola returned to her country for family reasons. After learning of the recent establishment of diplomatic relations between China and Honduras, Paola plans to go back to China. She wants to reconnect with her Chinese friends, foster mutual understanding between the two nations, and showcase the opportunities that China offers.

"This is important to me because it shows that China is a country that offers opportunities. I had an opportunity thanks to this, and China can also offer other people opportunities. And I'm also interested as Chinese people get to know Honduras a little more with (the establishment of diplomatic) relations."

Paola was excited about the recent inauguration of the Chinese Embassy in Honduras, as she plans to learn more about Chinese culture and take her family to explore the opportunities offered by China.
