The National Disaster Response Force (NDRF) rescued a group of children from the devastating floods that hit Dwarka, a town located in the Indian state of Gujarat. The extreme weather conditions were caused by Cyclone Biparjoy.

According to emergency services, 82 men, 27 women, 15 children, and three nursing staff were rescued from the Rupen Bandar area.

In a proud moment, rescue teams were seen working relentlessly as they rescued locals from the destruction of cyclone Biparjoy in western India's Gujarat.

The incident took place in Dwarka city on June 16.

As per reports, six teams of National Disaster Response Force (NDRF) were seen rescuing children, women and men from the Rupen Bandar area which is a low-lying location and the landfall of cyclone Biparjoy is expected. The NDRF officials can be seen rescuing the civilians by carrying them on their shoulders or in arms as the water flooded these areas.

Around 82 male, 27 female, 15 children and 3 nursing staff have been rescued.

A wind speed of 130kmph was predicted by the Indian Meteorological department and the swift action was taken by the rescue team saving a lot of lives.
