Firefighters Evacuate Babies From Mothers With Mental Disorders in Kemayoran, Central Jakarta. Indonesia

Firefighters in the Kemayoran Sector help evacuate babies from mothers who have mental disorders on Jl. Sukamulya VII, Harapan Mulya, Kemayoran, Central Jakarta on Friday, 16/06/2023 evening at 23.10 WIB.

The alleged cause, the mother with mental disorders did not want to take medicine so she threw all the things at home such as plates and glass glasses.

The husband was annoyed because his wife often beat him when he was having a relapse, the mother held the baby in her own room, because she was worried that the family would ask for help in an evacuation to save the baby.

Initially, the PPSU and Sat Pol-PP officers tried to evacuate them, but failed because items were piled up in their house, because they failed and there was no PPE, so they immediately contacted the Kemayoran Sector Fire Department.

Finally, officers from the Kemayoran Sector Fire Rescue managed to evacuate the baby so that it was safe from the mother who had mental disorders.
