STORYLINE:
The Chinese exhibition drew a lot of attention during the 8th Nairobi International Cultural Festival held on Saturday in Kenya's capital city Nairobi. At the festival, more than ten countries displayed their cultural heritage through dance performances, food tasting, and other activities.

"I was invited here with my friend, to come and see the cultures. As I was walking, I just stood there and I saw the Chinese side and I just fell in love with it and I have been here like for an hour or so. What I liked about it is the umbrella and even how they wear the dressing. It was just superb. What I loved about their umbrella is because it's kind of artistic."
Representing the Kenyan government at the event, Principal Secretary for Ministry of Tourism, Wildlife and Heritage John Ololtua said that Kenya has always been a place where cultures intertwine, with its citizens embracing diversity as a catalyst for progress.
SOUNDBITE 2 (English): JOHN OLOLTUA, Principal secretary in Kenya's Ministry of Tourism, Wildlife and Heritage
"The Nairobi International Cultural Festival is not merely a gathering but is a testament to the beauty that lies in our differences, the power of collaboration, and the unbreakable bond that we share as members of the global community."
Organized by the National Museums of Kenya amongst others, the cultural festival has continued to attract more participants and visitors over the years since its inception in 2013.
