This is the moment a boy was mowed down after walking in front of a moving sled at an amusement park in Thailand.

The youngster and his family were enjoying the indoor ice slope at the Frost Magical Ice of Siam in Pattaya, Chonburi on June 7.

Fotoage shows the other tourists sliding down the artificial snow, with the excited toddler walking into the path of the oncoming sled. His guardian tried to scoop him up but the boy was struck and flung to the side.

Onlooker Arm Takorn said: 'I was there working as a mechanic for the park's refrigeration units. The boy was slightly injured and was crying. I felt quite bad for him since his trip was ruined.

'The boy's parents took him away. I hope they are more careful with him next time.'
