Homicide in Kingston Upon Thames

A 58 year-old woman has been killed in a flat on the corner of Springfield road and Grove Lane in Kingston.

The woman was said to be last seen on Monday June 11, around 5:30 pm. Police were summoned to the scene on June 12, around 14.00hrs, after receiving a call from a concerned neighbor.

Neighbors around the residence are asked if they have heard or seen anything during the approximate time of the homicide. So far there has been no arrest.

Forensic officers have sealed up the flat where the body of the woman has been found.

Detectives believe they know the identity of the woman, but are yet to confirm that the next of kin has been informed.

The crime scene, just outside of the St Johns Evangelist church is under investigation by Homicide & Serious Crime Command.
