Shocking staircase stumble: woman's Iron Deficiency leads to dramatic fall with Cash Register in hand

Buy video

This video, filmed in Cambridgeshire in the UK, shows a woman falling downstairs while carrying a cash register and iPad.

The filmer, Kayleigh Louise, was taking the cash register downstairs whilst holding an iPad when her iron deficiency affected her ability to perform said task. A task that is part of her daily routine as an indoor leisure centre manager. Kayleigh is aware that this task is a risk due to her health condition.

Kayleigh told Newsflare that she was able to get herself up. However, her sister, an employee of the indoor leisure centre and a co-worker, came to help.

Kayleigh also told Newsflare, "I was lightheaded, which caused my little fall".

Kayleigh is not looking to seek compensation as the business was not at fault at all; as they were the manager on shift, the safety of the building is also her responsibility, and there are no faults with the staircase.

The owners have yet to issue any statements as it has been deemed unnecessary, and all accident forms have been filled out as needed.

Kayleigh suffered bruises/swelling/cuts on her knees and a bruised shin but stated: "I'm pretty much fine."

This video was filmed on 13 June.
