In Ireland/N. Ireland we are experiencing our best thunderstorms in years with storms every single day for a week, and they have been big, nasty and beautiful, and severe! today June 19th was my 3rd day in a row storm chasing, during the late evening this huge thunderstorm exploded like a volcanic eruption with convection boiling up into the atmosphere forming enormous updraughts and the classic storm anvil, all the while the storm rumbled with thunder constantly. This is a done clip sped up by x4 to show the motion captured at super wide angle. I have been chasing storms for almost 25 years and Ive never seen convection like this before, best I've ever seen, it was so beautiful and majestic and more like the USA than the UK!
