The U.S. Coast Guard rescued four people on a disabled vessel near Miami Beach last Friday.

Station Miami Beach rescue crew responded to the 25ft ship with four mariners onboard that was taking on water some 30 miles east of Miami Beach in Florida, USA at around 2 pm on June 16.

The Air Station Miami HC-144 aircrew delivered a dewatering pump to remove some of the flooding.

There were no injuries reported.

In a statement, Petty Officer 3rd Class Alain Carvajal from the Station Miami Beach said: 'Thanks to the strong coordination efforts from the rescue crews involved, we were able to bring each of these mariners home safe.

'We remind all mariners to check their safety equipment and conduct a proper inspection of their vessel prior to getting out on the water.'
