Timm Evans strongly believes that in a world where you can be anything, you should strive to be kind.

This feel-good video features Timm holding and helping a pigeon that had a string wrapped around its foot.

After cutting the string off, he sets the birdie free, making it possible for it to effortlessly fly again.

"We had seen this pigeon at a local dog park for many weeks," Timm shared with WooGlobe. "On this day, I kept shoo-ing away the other pigeons and only let the red-string pigeon near me. I was able to close my hand fast enough and caught it.

"My wife started recording and I grabbed the scissors and removed the string."
