Vulnerable Loggerhead Sea Turtle's Early Nesting Struggle in Orihuela, Alicante, Spain

A frustrated endangered loggerhead sea turtle attempted to lay her eggs too early on a Spanish beach Cala Capitan before returning to the sea.
The pregnant turtle, classified as "vulnerable" was observed by a beach cleaner in Orihuela, in Alicante, Spain on June 15th.
As her eggs were not yet mature, marine experts from Valancia's universities fitted her with a transmitter and witnessed her return to the sea. The experts will now monitor her movements when she comes back to lay her eggs.
