Fun loving Alaskan Malamute Dotty joins the children in the splash park
It was a very hot day when the children, Dotty and I went to the splash park to cool down. Dotty had never seen or been in a splash pad and wanted to follow the children to see what all the fun was about. Dotty was cautious but a willing participant. This is a first time experience for her which built up her confidence. This kind of activity is an important part of her dog training. Dotty is only 1.5 years old and even better the young under 5 children I was with appreciated seeing their doggy friend Dotty experience the same anxiety they do normally when trying something new.
