Rostov, Russia - Tensions rise as heavy equipment and armed personnel have been spotted near the headquarters of the Southern Military District in Rostov. On the morning of June 24th, 2023, an array of vehicles, accompanied by individuals dressed in camouflage uniforms and carrying weapons, appeared at 43 Budyonnovsky Avenue. The sudden presence of military forces has prompted a change in traffic patterns, causing disruptions in the city center.

In response to the developments, law enforcement officers in the Rostov region have been placed on high alert since the night of June 24th.
