Forensics are filmed outside Sarah Henshaw's home on Norman Street in Ilkeston, a town in Derbyshire, England. The footage also features images of officers on Raleigh Close and police at the natural reserve Straws Bridge.

The 31-year-old woman went missing on June 20 and was last seen at her home.

A statement released by Derbyshire Police said that "a body believed to be Sarah was discovered" in a layby off the A617, close to junction 29 of the M1, just after 12 am on June 26.

A derbyshire woman who went missing on the 20th June 2023 has been found dead in a layby around 25 miles away from her home prompting police to launch a murder investigation.

Sarah Henshaw went missing from her home on Norman Street, Ilkeston at around 9pm on Tuesday 20th June. Police soon after arrested a man after finding evidence in a van that Sarah had been injured or was dead. Police were seen today in forensics suits searching Sarah's house whilst officers guarded the home of the male who has been arrested.

A large police presence was also seen at a nearby lake but it is not known whether or not this was linked to this murder investigation.
