Bud Light beer brand 'under attack' for sponsoring Toronto Pride after controversial campaign

Beer brand Bud Light has been heavily criticised for sponsoring the Toronto Pride in Canada this year.

The controversial collaboration with transgender influencer Dylan Mulvaney is behind the row. Back in April, Bud Light sent her a personalised can to celebrate her "365 Days of Being a Girl".

Following the company's move, customers boycotted the products made by the parent company Anheuser-Busch InBev. This resulted in billions in losses.

Bud Light Canada has been a partner of the event for the past 10 years.
