A landslide resulted in severe structural damage, causing two apartment buildings uninhabitable in southwestern China.

The video was filmed in Sinan County in Guizhou Province on June 25.

The affected area was less than two metres away from the residential buildings, leading to an immediate evacuation.

An official from the Sintang Sub-district office informed that the residents of the impacted buildings had been relocated to temporary residences.

There have been no reported casualties, however, further details are expected to be shared in the official statement soon.

On June 26, a representative from Sinan County's Housing and Urban-Rural Planning and Construction Bureau stated that the small-scale landslide was due to the elevated terrain.

They reassured that the main structure of the buildings remained unaffected by the incident.

An evacuation was organised last night. Relevant department staff are on site dealing with the situation and awaiting inspection from provincial experts

The video was provided by local media with permission.
