STORYLINE:

The first-ever African Shaolin Kung Fu Games concluded on Monday at the Shaolin Cultural Center in Zambia.

The six-day event was organized by the Shaolin Temple in Zambia, attracting over 150 contestants from 23 African countries and regions.

"This tournament is very good because it is the first one, and also the temple here in Zambia is the first one in Africa. We are really glad to know that there is a country in Africa that is hosting the Shaolin Kung Fu culture. We hope that we will have the opportunity to come again and again in order to perform and see friends of other countries."

"Participating in this tournament really helps with the motivation of us, because (participants from) other countries have come to Zambia, to participate in (this event in) Zambia. We are gaining more experience, and we are developing as youths."

"If somebody needs to start (practicing) Kung Fu, I can just say start it, because it is a good thing."
