The video, captured by Musa Özil, shows a long line of riot officers and another long line of uniformed officers, more than 50 police officers, arriving in Whitechapel to arrest one man. More officers could be seen further away, watching on.

A line of police officers stormed an East London street, Castlemaine Street. In another clip, a crowd has formed around a café in Whitechapel that appears to be the officer's primary focus.

Officers surrounded the area, stopping the public from getting near their colleagues whilst they broke down a door to gain entry and arrest what appeared to be just one person. A calm but curious crowd watches on.

A single man is later filmed in handcuffs. Londoners were puzzled by the amount of police and rushed to the comments. One person wrote, "And why soooo many for one fella?"

Another wondered, "Is this Britain's most wanted? Why soo much drama." A third person said, "One guy?!" as another added ", They sent the whole station for this one."

"Whoever made the decision to send them all needs to give a public explanation as to WHY," another person commented. One Londoner wondered, "is that many really necessary".

From the videos, it seemed the police presence led to an individual's arrest at a cafe. However, the Met Police have not confirmed if an arrest was made.

The videos has gone viral on TikTok, quickly gaining thousands, now 1.7 million views.

This video was filmed on 23rd June
