STORYLINE:
The 17th ASEAN-China Forum on Social Development and Poverty Reduction opened on Monday in the coastal city of Beihai in south China's Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region.
More than 200 participants from various sectors attended the forum, which aimed to strengthen the cooperation on poverty reduction and rural development between China and ASEAN countries.
