Baby hangs upside down and falls from hammock
A baby hung upside down and fell from a hammock.
The four-month-old Arnold woke up from his nap and wriggled in the makeshift swing made from blanket and rope in Surat Thani province, Thailand, on May 26.
But Arnold's head up to half of his body slid off the cloth, and he was left hanging for a short while before falling.
CCTV footage shows the crying baby tumbling headfirst. Fortunately, the hammock was set up on top of a bed, and he fell into the mattress.
Arnold's mum Kunthima Prasert said: ‘I was so scared when I heard him cry. I rushed to the bedroom and saw he fell from the hammock.'
The youngster was not seriously hurt but Kunthima said she hopes that parents will learn from her lesson.
She said: 'Many things can happen in only a few minutes of being away. I will never leave my child alone again.'
