Hundreds of Muslim worshippers make their way across Saudi Arabia's Valley of Mina, southeast of the city of Mecca, to join the "Stoning of the Devil" ritual.

This religious tradition requires pilgrims to hurl pebbles towards three imposing pillars, symbolising the locations where the devil attempted to thwart Ibrahim's sacrificial offering.

The event is part of the annual Islamic Hajj pilgrimage to the holy city of Mecca.
