Heartwarming footage shows how a doting daughter surprised her super-fan dad with tickets to a Bruno Mars concert.

Jena Garcia said her father Vener Garcia, 50, had been a fan of the American singer and songwriter for almost a decade but missed his concert in 2014 in the Philippines.

After finding out that the Grammy Award-winning performer was performing in the capital Manila, the loving daughter took the chance to make her old man happy.

Footage shows Jena's father Vener singing ‘When I Was Your Man' in the karaoke. The pair then drove to the Philippine Arena where she gave him the tickets and the dad was seen rushing to their designated seats.

Jena said: ‘My dad is a huge fan of Bruno Mars for a long time. Nine years ago, he did a concert but I can't afford the tickets then.

‘So I promised myself that one day, I'll take him to a Bruno Mars concert, and finally, I made it happen.'

The father-and-daughter duo sang along and danced as the singer performed in front of the crowd.

Jena added: ‘I am so happy to see my dad enjoying himself like that. It's a dream come true.'

Bruno Mars is an American singer known for his energetic live performances and his ability to blend different musical genres. He holds 15 Grammy Awards and four Brit Awards.
