Motorists rescued after car falls into sinkhole that opened up on road in China
Motorists were rescued after a car fell into a sinkhole that opened up on a road in eastern China.
Dashcam video filmed in the city of Xuzhou in Jiangsu Province on June 27 shows a section of the road suddenly collapsing, causing a car to fall into the big sinkhole.
Three nearby residents rescued the people trapped in the car by pulling them out.
An officer from the Gulou District Traffic Police Brigade confirmed the road collapse, stating that traffic police are currently on site to maintain order, but the traffic has yet to be restored.
The cause of the dramatic sinkhole is still unknown.
