Entrepreneurs attending a dialogue event held by the World Internet Conference (WIC) have spoken highly of China's development in the field of artificial intelligence (AI).

Concluded on Tuesday in eastern Chinese city of Qufu, the three-day World Internet Conference (WIC) Nishan Dialogue on Digital Civilization aimed at pooling wisdom for building a digital civilization in the age of AI.

"In this new era of digital transformation, connectivity is key, and 5G is the greatest enabler across our economies, empowering AI, IoT, and big data. Of course, China is one of the leaders in this space with the highest number of 5G base stations. And by 2025, the GSMA expects it will be the first country to reach 1 billion 5G connections."

"The development of AI technology in China has three major advantages, namely a solid foundation, rich scenarios, and the integration of data and reality. About 400 representatives of various sectors across the world joined the dialogue either online or onsite.
