Magnitude 4.5 earthquake rocks ice cream shop in Thailand

An earthquake rocked an ice cream shop in northern Thailand this morning.

CCTV footage shows water bottles and glass displays shaking when the quake hit the store Phichit province shortly after midnight on June 29.

The Earthquake Observation Division of Thailand's Meteorological Department said the quake was centred in Bang Krathum district in Phitsanulok.

It was recorded at around 12:17 am local time at a depth of five kilometres.

Residents in nearby provinces, including Nakhon Sawan, Phichit, Loei, and Kamphaeng Phet also reported feeling the earthquake.

There were no immediate reports of injuries or damage.
