Heavy rainfall leads to landslide, Badrinath national highway gets blocked, pilgrims stranded
A landslide triggered by heavy rain washed away part of key highway in chamoli district in Uttrakhand, this landslide had left pilgrims tourists stranded. A portion of national highway 7 which leads to badrinath shrine is now covered in debris ,Efforts are on to clear the rubble and restore traffic along the route at the earliest
Video shows a mound of debris accumulated on the road . The stranded pilgrims included those on way to Badrinath and Hemkund Sahib, officials said
