A mysterious object was captured streaking across the sky in eastern China.

The video was filmed in Anji County in Zhejiang Province on June 27.

A man, while appreciating the panoramic view from an observation deck, was startled to notice an unidentified object rapidly descending from the clouds.

According to the witness, the object traced a long, serpentine tail across the sky, reminiscent of a writhing snake in motion. Overwhelmed by the astonishing sight, he quickly took out his phone to capture the bewildering moment.

On the day of the incident, it was reported that Anji County was under the influence of strong convective weather. However, no official response has yet been provided regarding this peculiar atmospheric phenomenon.

A dedicated astronomy expert from the Zhejiang Natural Museum's Department of Scientific Research, after scrutinizing the video, offered an initial analysis: "Judging solely from the object's falling speed and trajectory, it is unlikely to be either a meteorite or falling space debris, both of which would fall at a much faster speed. The possibility of an aircraft crash can also be considered, but such an event would be major news, and no related reports have been received. Therefore, it might be the descent of an unmanned flying vehicle or possibly even an aircraft's contrail, appearing as a falling object due to the angle of the shot."

据了解，当天下午，安吉县出现了强对流天气，至于这种天象，目前暂无官方回应。
浙江自然博物院科学研究部的一名天文专家，在认真观看了视频后分析：“单从该不明物体的坠落速度和轨迹来判断，应该不是陨石坠落和航天残骸坠落，这两种情况的坠落速度会更快。有可能是飞行器坠落，但飞机坠落是大事件，并没有收到相关报告，所以有可能是无人飞行器坠落，也有可能是飞机的尾迹，只是拍摄角度问题，看着像下坠。
