STORYLINE:
The first round-trip international route between southwest China's Mangshi City and Myanmar's major cities Mandalay and Yangon has been launched.
The first such flight, undertaken by Myanmar National Airlines, landed at the Dehong Mangshi Airport on Thursday.
Mangshi City is located in the Dai and Jingpo Ethnic Autonomous Prefecture of Dehong in Yunnan Province, which is adjacent to Myanmar.
It's believed that the flight route will further boost people-to-people exchanges between the two countries.
