After decade-long efforts of restoration, the ecological environment in the Hanshan National Nature Reserve in north China's Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region has seen significant improvement.
Wildlife species have also increased as once barren mountains are covered by lush vegetation.
According to environment inspector of the nature reserve, more than 40 wildlife species have been spotted there, including some national first-class protected animals.
