Wild boar rampages into Chinese bank, shattering glass door
A wild boar rampaged into a bank, shattering its glass door in central China.
CCTV footage filmed in Luoyang City in Henan Province on June 25 shows a wild boar running into a self-service bank's glass door, knocking it over.
An employee of the bank branch revealed that the whereabouts of the rampaging boars remain unknown. Given their status as protected animals in the region, they are strictly off-limits for private hunting.
Although the last few years have seen an upsurge in the wild boar population, sightings within city limits remain rare.
These untamed beasts have grown notorious among local farmers, frequently rampaging through village farmlands, wreaking havoc on crops, and leaving a trail of destruction in their wake.
The video was provided by local media with permission.
