Toronto air quality among worst in the world due to wildfire smoke

Smoke shrouds the Toronto skyline on June 30 as the city was named as having the third-worst air quality in the world according to data tracked by IQAir, a a Swiss technology company.

New York has the second-worst air quality, behind Jakarta, according to IQAir data. Montreal is number four and Washington, D.C. is number five. This means that four out of five cities with the world's worst air quality are in North America
