Thick smoke billowed out of Taal Volcano in the Philippines.
Footage shows the cloud-like mass oozing out of the peak in Batangas province on June 28.
Onlooker Reynante Olitan De Villa said: ‘I always pass by there to check how the volcano is doing.'
Just last week, the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs) recorded 13 earthquakes around the volcano in under 24 hours of observation. Each tremor lasted at least two minutes.
In a statement, the government agency said: ‘The volcano's height has reached 2,400 meters, and there has been a significant volume of emission, with the ash plume drifting towards the northwest.'
Taal Volcano remains in Alert Level 1 which means that there is an increased in volcanic earthquake and steam or gas activity.
