Video taken on June 29, 2023 shows the scene of a pastry shop with a history of more than 160 years in Zhangjiakou, Hebei province, China.

The pastry masters in the production workshop work together methodically, and the pastry production here is completely made by hand with a century-old process.

The flour is sifted into two parts first, one part is stirred with water to make water skin, and the other part is mixed with lard to make pastry core.

Pastry blank first roll round, and then use the mahogany mold to press out a variety of shapes such as gourd, peach, corn, etc., after the process of coloring and baking, ten minutes later, a piece of pastry called exquisite "art" will be freshly baked.
