Madrid Pride, held on Saturday, July 1, saw an impressive turnout of approximately one million attendees, accompanied by a lively batucada, 46 vibrant floats, and a notable political presence. Carrying the theme of "For our rights, for our lives, and with Pride," the march commenced at the Carlos V roundabout, near the Atocha station, and culminated at Plaza de Colón, where the organizing entities, COGAM and FELGTBI, were based.

To ensure the safety and peacefulness of the LGTBI Pride celebrations, both the National Police and the Municipal Police deployed a comprehensive security arrangement comprising a total of 3,726 officers. This marked a significant increase compared to the previous year, which witnessed the deployment of 1,500 national police officers. The higher security measures were implemented in anticipation of a larger crowd, with organizers estimating a turnout of around one million people, surpassing the 700,000 participants in 2022.

Madrid Pride (MADO) is the largest Pride festival in Spain. It opens every year at the end of June and, for a whole week, it offers an extensive and lively program of events that reaches its peak with the demonstration on the first Saturday of July.
