At the third China-Africa Economic and Trade Expo held in central China's Changsha City, exhibitors and officials from Mozambique have expressed their wishes to seize business opportunities brought by the event.

"We are from Mozambique. Mozambique is one of the guests of honor at this expo. We have brought many products. We hope to enter the Chinese market with Mozambican products. We want to make the most of this opportunity."

"We are showcasing our company's products at this expo. We have many products. This is our sesame, which is completely natural and unprocessed. I named my company 'Dream,' because our dream is to improve our community, to transform and develop our country's industry. We come from a resource-rich but impoverished province, with few accessible roads and shortage of water and electricity. But we still face life with a smile. We named the company 'Dream,' hoping everything will get better and better."

In 2022, bilateral trade between China and Mozambique reached 4.63 billion U.S. dollars, up 14.9 percent year-on-year, according to the Chinese Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

The expo aims to welcome more "Made in Africa" products into China and boost business links between the two sides.
