SOUNDBITE 1 (Chinese): PALIDAN MEMET, Inheritor of Uygur people's fabric stamping technique
"When you do it, you can't stamp it on one side first and then the other side, otherwise the pattern will be unclear."

SOUNDBITE 2 (Chinese): Palidan Memet's student
"Palidan, we're running low on pigment. Let's make some pigment."

SOUNDBITE 3 (Chinese): PALIDAN MEMET, Inheritor of Uygur people's fabric stamping technique
"We commonly use walnut skin and pomegranate skin to make pigment. We make with walnut skin first today. The pigment is environmentally friendly and natural, and it will not fade. We choose cotton coarse cloth, or cotton and linen cloth. We take these three as a group for the patterns along the edge, and then use this one as the continuous pattern in the middle. The key is to brush this pigment. When brushing, we must brush it evenly on the stamp."

SOUNDBITE 4 (Chinese): Palidan Memet's daughter
"Mom, you're printing."

SOUNDBITE 5 (Chinese): PALIDAN MEMET, Inheritor of Uygur people's fabric stamping technique
"You're back. My daughter is 12 years old, and she also likes fabric stamping. I plan to train her to be an inheritor of the technique in the future."
